COVID 19 Notice – Board President Letter

Welcome to The Lodge at Lake Tahoe

We want to welcome you to the Lodge and thank you for spending your time in Tahoe with us. Due to the Covid-19 we had to change a few of our everyday policies and procedures. The health and safety of all owners, guests and employees is the most important consideration in providing you with an enjoyable vacation experience.

We hope that this notice will help you navigate during your stay here and give you an understanding our process for handling housekeeping and maintenance issues.

Mid-week cleaning or daily service for all our guests will not be provided at this time. If you need additional supplies, please call the front desk and we will happily deliver them to your room. 

For maintenance we will only enter a room to manage work orders if all guests are out of the unit. You can report non-emergency issues, but we will only repair the items that would affect your comfort and safety.

For the near future, all amenities will be closed, pool and pool area, spa, BBQ’s and gift shop. We appreciate you understand as we do not have the staff to manage the cleaning protocols that have been put in place by the Health Department. 

You can check TahoeSouth.com website for attractions that are open and their policies for conducting business. Unfortunately, we are not able to distribute literature at the front desk. We ask that your visits to the front desk be limited to essential matters. When entering the lobby, we ask that you wear a mask, if you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one. Please always practice proper social distancing and gather in groups of no more than 10 people.

GENERAL RESORT INFORMATION

Office hours: we are open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Please contact the front desk by dialing 0 if you need information or to report any housekeeping or maintenance needs. 

Room Keys: our room keys have a magnetic strip on the back. Please do not put them near your cellphone, magnetic money clip, on top of the DVD player. They can be demagnetized and will not work. We are not a 24-hour front desk and if you lose, lock-in or demagnetize your keys you will be charged for someone to return to the property to make a new key.

Check-in: Check-in time is normally 4:00 PM, but due to strict cleaning protocols we can not guarantee a 4:00 PM check-in.

Check-out: Check-out time is 11:00 AM. We will not be able to allow late check-out times because time to clean the rooms is essential. 

Coin-op laundry facilities: We will only allow one person in the laundry room at a time.
